Sequencing preparation for drug discovery

A walkaway library preparation system with integrated quality control

An increased throughput library preparation system with high functionality and adaptability

Our library preparation system is split into pre and post-PCR workcells, both of which require one-time set-up for multiple runs.

Additionally, all deck replenishment is automated meaning there is no scientist dead time waiting for liquid handling programs to finish.

PRE-PCR
POST-PCR

On the post-PCR system there is a plate reader and fragment sizer meaning all QC can be performed as part of the sequencing preparation workflow without manual interaction.

2X Throughput increase
99% reduction in manual touchpoints
85% reduction in skilled time

This system allows operational hours to be extended, as a member of staff isn’t required for deck setups throughout the workflow.

There is temperature-controlled storage where the samples can be safely kept after the workflow has completed, ready for use when needed.

This workcell was designed around an RNA-seq protocol, and can be used to assess gene expression in response to a drug. This is particularly important in the drug discovery process to evaluate the response to a drug in a cell line or organism. This often comes after the initial high throughput screening workflows when candidates have been narrowed down.
