About Meng
Meng Muk is the Vice President of Engineering at Automata, bringing over two decades of experience in software development, engineering leadership, and architectural strategy. She has worked across multiple industries, including data engineering, fintech, travel technology, and media, with expertise in building scalable SaaS products, high-traffic APIs, and resilient cloud-based platforms.
Before joining Automata, Meng was VP of Engineering at Matillion, where she led teams building a cloud-native data integration platform that helps businesses seamlessly transform and manage data in cloud data warehouses. Prior to that, she held senior leadership roles at Expedia Group, scaling engineering teams and driving technical initiatives that improved performance, reliability, and compliance.
Meng holds a BEng (Hons.) in Computer Systems and Electronics from King’s College London. She regularly shares her insights at industry events and is passionate about mentoring future technical leaders and advocating for diversity in technology.
