About Jeff
Jeff is VP Global Sales at Automata, empowering the customer-facing teams to build relationships and develop broad solutions generating our revenue stream and business pipeline with our anchor line of lab automation products.
He has more than three decades in leadership roles as a commercial change agent in both start-ups and large global businesses supplying tools for the life science and diagnostics industry. This diverse leadership portfolio includes; Hamilton Robotics, Tecan US, Thermo Lab Automation, Complete Genomics / MGI / BGI and Dynamic Devices. His educational background in microbiology and molecular biology enables a deep sector understanding of a broad range of applications from high throughput drug screening, NGS genomics, cellular therapeutics, molecular diagnostics and personalized medicine.
His business mantra is that of a servant leader, one that empowers his staff to succeed, giving each team member the ability to reach their full potential.
On his discovery and exploration side, Jeff was an avid scuba diver, and even taught classes and dove with an IMAX film crew while he lived in the Bay Area. Jeff currently resides on the west coast of the US, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada with his wife, an 11 year old daughter. Current explorations include off-road desert & west coast trips, wine & food tours through Europe and beach & blender trips to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
