About Daniel
Daniel is the Head of Product Operations for Automata. He is a two-time entrepreneur with extensive experience ideating and launching hardware/software products. He’s passionate about the interface of technology and design, building teams that deliver functional products that transform industries. Have you seen LINQ?
Having founded design and engineering consultancy Haberdashery in 2008, he grew Haberdashery to secure clients such as Nissan, British Land among others. After Haberdashery, Daniel created and successfully seed-funded Lightvert, an out-of-home media technology company utilising proprietary hardware technologies to generate seemingly “holographic” images the size of buildings.
Daniel has an MA in Industrial Design Engineering from Royal College of Art London and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Physics and Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh.
Dan is passionate about music (his Desert Island Disc is Kraftwerk – Autobahn) with a penchant for analogue stereo equipment; he enjoys cooking, spending time with his family, and board sports.
