Alice Tome-Fernandez is a Senior Field Application Scientist at Automata, specializing in laboratory automation solutions that drive efficiency and innovation in life sciences laboratories.

She earned her degree in Natural Sciences from the University of East Anglia before working at pioneering companies such as Illumina, TwistDx, and Cambridge Epigenetix. 

With over a decade of experience in multi-omics tool development and laboratory automation, Alice combines deep scientific expertise with firsthand knowledge of lab workflows. At Automata, she partners with customers to design and implement automation solutions that fit their scientific needs whilst achieving their operational goals.
