The complete lab workflow automation platform for cell-based assays

Empower your lab with LINQ: a flexible, robust automation system that transforms the output and reliability of your data

A full walkway workcell which allows multiple assays to be performed with minimal consumable cost. This increases the data collection potential of the system whilst keeping sustainability in mind. The cell-based assays workcell uses acoustic liquid handling technology combined with a plate washer and dispenser to allow complex compound testing to be performed without the use of disposable pipette tips.

A multi-mode plate reader has been included on the workcell to allow multiplex assays to maximise data collection in a small footprint system.

The large capacity incubator means multiple assay-ready plates can be loaded at set-up and remain stable until used, allowing the full walkaway automation of cell-based assays.

This system was designed to test cells with multiple compounds in mind, so it can assist in multiple parts of the drug discovery funnel. The plate reader in the system could be swapped out for another device, such as an imager, to give a different analytical output whilst the rest of the system stays the same.

Example workflows that could be executed with this set up include cytotoxicity assays, inflammation assays, and cell viability assays.

Your lab’s flexible automation partner

“The support level is utmost. They’ve given me a software engineer and a project manager – specific people I can go to for specific problems.

The modularity of the system is also brilliant. When this system becomes obsolete, we’ll be able to easily break it down and adapt to the new processes with minimal cost.”
